HELP RAVINIA MEET THE CHALLENGE
	At Ravinia, we believe that the value of music goes far beyond the boundaries of a concert hall and that a life spent in appreciation of music is meaningful and inspiring. Unfortunately, due to deep budgetary constraints, many schools in the Chicago Public School system can not offer a full range of music education to their students. This is where Ravinia—and you—can make a difference.

Recently, Ravinia has been given a wonderful challenge by the Elizabeth Morse Genius Charitable Trust, one of Chicago’s finest philanthropic institutions. If we raise $41,190 toward our K-6 elementary school programs by September 30 of this year, the Morse Genius Trust will donate $100,000 toward those same programs. This grant will fully fund our elementary school programs in some of Chicago’s most economically challenged public schools,thus providing thousands of Chicago’s young people with the opportunity to challenge their minds through art and music.
