Highland Park, Illinois—The Ravinia Festival announces Equity/Non-Equity auditions for the 2010 summer production of Annie Get Your Gun starring Patti LuPone as Annie Oakley and Brian Stokes Mitchell as Frank Butler under the direction of Lonny Price and musical direction of Paul Gemignani. Three performances to take place at the Pavilion on the campus of the Ravinia Festival, located in Highland Park, Illinois.
Equity auditions are slated for Thursday, March 25 from 10:30AM-4:00PM, Friday, March 26 from 9:30AM-3:00PM. Callbacks (if necessary) will be Saturday, March 27 from 12:00-3:00PM.
Non Equity auditions are slated for Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 4:00-6:00pm, Friday, March 26, 2010 from 3:00-5:00pm and Saturday, March 27, 2010, from 10:00am-12:00pm with callbacks on Saturday afternoon. The auditions will take place in Bennett Gordon Hall on the campus of the Ravinia Festival, 201 St. Johns Ave, Highland Park, IL 60035.
All roles open with the exception of Annie/Frank. Directors request that no audition music that was written after 1980 be presented. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a current picture and resume. You may be asked to move at the callbacks. You may be asked to sing an additional piece so please bring your books. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend. Salary is $850.00/week minimum.
For Equity auditions, Appointments will be taken by the Equity office beginning Thursday, March 18th at 9:30 AM. Call 312-641-0406--9:30 AM-12:30 PM and 3:00-4:30 PM only.
