DIY Ultimate Picnic Contest
Another delightful summer evening came and went setting the stage for any picnickers dream. Ravinia partnered with Rutherford Hill to award the 2011 Ultimate Picnic. Guest judges from around Chicago, including HGTV host and celebrity designer, Monica Pedersen, surveyed the lawn to discover the most spectacular display. From detailed scrabble boards to Rutherford Hill martinis, judges were impressed with all of the creative designs that participants brought to the lawn.
Participants were awarded with prizes from Ravinia Gifts, Rutherford Hill, Sunset Foods and Kerrygold Irish Dairy. Grand prize winners were awarded something equally inviting as their picnic set ups– a season-long lawn pass to Ravinia's 2012 season!
This year the judges had an especially difficult time naming the ultimate picnic. With so many extravagant displays, they couldn't make up their mind – declaring two grand prize winners!
